Dr. Ashok Kumar Singha is a poet and literary personality who has written in both Odia and English for more than three decades. His supplied literary profile records 13 published poetry books, more than 100 published poems, two subject books, contributions to four subject books, and more than 50 peer-reviewed research articles.

His poetry transforms ordinary Indian landscapes and objects into metaphors of longing, survival, tenderness and disappearance. Beaches, rain-soaked verandahs, migrant roads, widowed rooms, stray dogs, burning forests and distant blue horizons become spaces where personal grief meets wider social and environmental unease.

Alongside writing, he has built a long professional career in consulting and entrepreneurship and has remained closely engaged with the literary ecosystem. He is also Festival Director of Bhubaneswar Literary Festival.
